My nipples are leaking in my chicken house?

A leaking nipple drinking system can create all sorts of problems in a chicken house. 9 times out of 10 it is not the nipple drinking equipment but the way it was installed. The nipples are inserted into a plastic pipe – and if this is not done correctly – they leak. The other cause is that your chicken house is on a slope and the pressure build up at the end of the nipple line is to great – you need a slope regulator. The last cause is that your nipples have become blocked – if your water source is not absolutely clean this can easily happen – flush you nipple lines with fresh water and see if this helps – if your poultry house is in an area where you get lots of lime (the stuff that builds up in your kettle) – this may also be a cause – install a clean water filter. Leaking nipples cause wet litter -  nipple drinking install, wet litter in a poultry house means that your chicken house equipment was most likely not correctly installed. The best poultry equipment is often the answer.,
